Support pregnant & parenting teens
Cook a meal for Thursday night YoungLives gatherings (6:30-9:30PM at R/Tempe). For all ages.
Put together mom bags for new moms! Bags could include: diaper cream, unscented wipes, baby bottles, swaddling blankets, treats for mom, $5 gift card to Starbucks or Dutch Bros, an encouraging card for mom, etc. Please do not include diapers.For all ages.

Support youth in Tempe Promise neighborhood
Serve at MentorKids– build relationships, play games, help with homework, be a reading buddy, pass out snacks.
Teach fun and practical skills (fitness, cooking, art, crafts, yo-yoing, etc.)—share your passions!
Help grow a community garden
Volunteering: Monday–Thursday // 3–5pm // Daily, weekly, or monthly

Support DCS workers
Make care packages for the DCS workers. Care packages could: treats, self-care items, gift cards, notes of encouragement. For all ages.
Please reach out in advance to inquire about how many employees they have, what would bless them, and appropriate drop off times.

Support our neighbors in South Phoenix
Serve at the Rio Vista Center on Saturday mornings (9-11AM) – unload and organize grocery store donations and assemble them in boxes to distribute at their free Farmers Market held for the community. For ages 5+ accompanied by adult.

Support those experiencing homelessness
Serve at Hope for the Homeless (Saturdays before the 3rd Sunday of each month, 8:45–11:30AM) – prepare a meal to served on the following Sunday + assemble HOPE bags containing items needed by the homeless for their daily subsistence. For all ages accompanied by adult.

Serve international students
Host students for a meal in your home. This could be centered around a holiday or also any night that works for everyone. Most students never enter the home of an American while they’re studying here. This is a chance to display gracious hospitality and make some international friends. For all ages.

Support refugees resettling in our city
There are dozens of ways to serve with young kids at Gathering Humanity – coloring welcome signs for newly arrived refugees, making kitchen kits, putting together English learning materials, making scrunchies, etc. For all ages. SERVE HERE
